Spa and Float Policies & Courtesies

As a small, locally-owned business, we truly appreciate your support. To ensure you have the best experience with us, we kindly ask you to review our spa policies and a few courtesies regarding your appointments. We’re here to make your visit as relaxing and enjoyable as possible! Thank you for being a valued part of our community.

  • Services provided are by appointment only.

  • We do not accept walk-in appointments. 

  • Please come prepared with a valid government issued ID, as this is required for all first-time guests.​​

  • Guests must be 16 years of age or older.

  • Any guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • A major credit card is required to reserve an appointment.

  • When scheduling services, please inform us if you prefer a male or female therapist.

  • Please let us know if you may be pregnant, as some services are not available during your first trimester.

  • For the comfort and privacy of all spa guests, we ask that all cell phones be turned off or put on silent when arriving at the Spa and you speak quietly in all common areas so other guests may relax.

Arrival & Cancellation 

  • We kindly ask you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment start time.

  • Late arrivals will not have the benefit of their full scheduled service time.

  • ​​Any cancellations without a 24-hour notice will be charged 50% of the total services.

  • "No Show" appointments will be charged in full. â€‹

Your Comfort & Modesty Matter to Us

At Abundant Health Float and Day Spa, your comfort, privacy, and peace of mind are incredibly important. You will never be asked to undress in front of anyone. We provide cozy robes for multiple services and soft towels for all our Float guests for your convenience. All of our experienced therapists are trained in professional draping techniques to ensure you feel safe and secure at all times. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered during your service, and your therapist will step out of the room while you change and again before you get up from the table.

Respect & Spa Etiquette

Abundant Health Float and Day Spa is a space for healing, relaxation, and wellness. We ask all guests to treat our team and facility with courtesy and respect. Inappropriate behavior—including suggestive language, advances, or excessive intoxication—will not be tolerated.

  • We are proud to support and protect our staff at all times.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time for any reason that may compromise the safety, privacy, or well-being of our team or other clients. 

  • Any behavior that makes our team feel unsafe or disrespected will result in the immediate termination of services and may lead to permanent dismissal from our spa. We do not tolerate harassment, verbal abuse, or any form of inappropriate conduct.​

By booking an appointment with us, you agree to abide by these terms. appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone.

Gratuity 

  • Gratuity is not included in the price of services. However, we greatly appreciate and encourage gratuities for our massage therapists, estheticians, and float staff, who prepare and maintain the float pod tanks, based on the quality of service provided.

Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are available for purchase online and in-store for a dollar value only. 

  • Gift cards must be present at time of redemption.

  • We will collect basic information about the gift card recipient at time of purchase. In the event that the gift card is lost, stolen, or damaged, this will allow us to pull the gift card information history.

Float Pods (Sensory Deprivation Tanks) 

  • Float Pods are cleaned and tested after each float session and maintained to meet or exceed the standards set forth by the Florida Department of Health.

  • In regards to our Float Pods, you must not have colored your hair or used a skin tanning service or lotion within a week of your float. Piercings require 6-8 weeks recovery prior to float.

  • For your safety and the safety of the float pods, you cannot float under any circumstance where bodily fluids may contaminate the pod, some examples of this are open wounds, during a menstruation cycle, or recent surgeries.

  • In the event that bodily fluids, hair dyes, tanning products, etc. are released into the water solution it will result in a $1000 fine.
